Crab cakes and Cookies!!!!
On my first day in New York I was a audience member on the View which was an experience I wasn't necessarily looking forward to (I would have preferred Wendy for the tea spilling) but turned out to be really fun . While being there, a fellow "out-of towner" asked one of the ladies of the view where to go to eat. Now thinking back to it she may have been an actress who they told to ask the question (I will say why later). Well the host recommended P.J Clarkes, which we then decided to go to (and by the sound of it so did 40 other audience members).
So at P.J Clarkes I decided to try the crab cakes
It was really delicious, it was mostly crab, hardly any potato stuffing (which explained the price.....side-eye, side-eye kmt). Nonetheless, I don't regret ordering it.
When leaving we spoke to the concierge (boujee init) and he said that particular host came there all the time and audience members came to the restaurant all the time (side-eye to the next degree). MMMMMMMMM okay sis I see you... we see each other actress LOOOOOOOL.
After, walking around the area and our failed attempts at outlet shopping we popped into Levain bakery.
Prior to coming to New York I saw positives reviews about their delicious cookies. So, when I reached the bakery I had to be extra and try every single one.
Oatmeal and Raisin
Double chocolate chip
Walnut and Chocolate chip
(Ignore my sheggy fingernails.... ahh messs)
I think my favourite was the chocolate peanut butter (sweet and salty)
Overall, it was a good first full day in New York.
