Clinton St. Restaurant and my "pilgrimage" to Katz's Deli
Clinton's St. Baking Company and Restaurant was suggested by my cousin's friend, specifically for the brunch. When we got out of the subway, the vibe was much more relaxed and usual neighbourhood scenery compared to where we were staying. My Mum and Aunt were lowkey shook when we came across a random police car parked in the middle of the road (sidenote: We live in London....but I guess with all that is going on the USA its understandable I guess..).
So after walking a few blocks, we finally reached the bustling Clinton St Restaurant right on the corner. It was packed out and we waited for 30 minutes to an hour to get a table (trust me it was all the way worth it!!!!!). Once seated, we looked through the menu, which had so many dishes I wanted to try.
I wanted to try something slightly different: Eggs benedict, this time with cured ham and buttermilk biscuit with hollandaise sauce of course.
My mum had Chicken and waffles (high key wish I could of went back so I could try it).
My Aunt had the smoked salmon omelette with scallion cream, soft greens and wholegrain bread
My cousin had the buttermilk biscuit sandwich with hash brown tomato jam and cheesy eggs.
For brunch-dessert (yes that is a thing....you didn't know....LOL) we all shared some pancakes with blueberry compote served with some warm maple butter.
Once we were able to stand, we took a walk around the neighbourhood on our pilgrimage to Katz's Delicatessen.
At this point, we were still full from brunch. So we just went in to have a quick look to see it in real life (I only knew about this place because of Man vs. Food).
Look out real soon for Part 3 (yes there is a part 3 and 4 actually.....I won't let you guys wait too long this time....)

See you soon!!!!
