Catching up at Farm Girl

I hadn't seen my uni friends in almost a year and we had a lot to catch up on. So my friend suggested we try Farm girl in Chelsea upon being recommended by one of her friends. When exploring their "ABOUT" page, Farm girl state that they value "nutritionally, nurturing ingredients" and use creativity to produce "delicious yet nourishing food".

This was reflected when I checked out the menu prior to going (you know me...…… I am greedy INIT).

Once I finished scanning through the menu, I definitely couldn't wait to go and eat (and obviously see my friends lol).

We arrived. We hugged. Briefly caught up. But, we needed food. The time swiftly came to order some food. .

Drinks: I chose the matcha latte made with organic Japanese green tea powder

My friend chose Latte black which had charcoal, date syrup and cashew milk. My other friend had hot chocolate also containing date syrup as an alternative sweetening.

Food: Neither of us had breakfast, so we decided to choose from the brunch menu.

I chose the "Farm omelette with mushroom served with some sourdough toasted slices. I added toasted coconut as a substitute for bacon.

My friend had scrambled eggs with mushroom, tomato and sourdough bread.

My other friend had scrambled egg too but with spinach and halloumi cheese.

MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't go all that way and not have dessert. So we decided on the "Berry pancakes" which were sooooo delicious: the pancakes were nice and fluffy-light, the tartness of the berries and sauce worked well with the yogurt the pancakes were served with.

I still wanted to try another drink one that I had seen on Farm girls Instagram and that was the "Rose latte". This had a double shot of coffee and rose water infused milk and petals.

My friend ordered the "Liquid Gold" Latte which contained turmeric, cinnamon, astragalus (a herb used as medicine) and honey (indulgent but somewhat healthy).

The décor of the café was very trendy but really cosy and welcoming which is something Farm girl states they wanted to achieve.

All in all, Farm girl café was a great place to indulge and nourish as well as a great backdrop for catching up with friends or any loved ones.
