Cattle and Co.

Whenever I am meeting up with my cousins, food has to be included. Alongside the constant bants and updating of our lives we have to eat somewhere and satisfy our stomachs. Because my cousins were coming into London via Kings Cross we decided to find somewhere local. With the usual basic "places to eat near Kings Cross" internet search I came across Cattle and Co. I thought it could be nice to try something new and the menu looked good on their website. After waiting and a bit of confusion of where everyone was, we made our way to Cattle and Co. As we arrived we were welcomed by a member of staff and seated. We wasted no time in figuring out what we were eating. Orders were taken and various convos later, our food arrived

(I tried a flat pan photo...…. the floppation was real in this pic SMH)

List of things going clockwise from the left: Southern Fried chicken burger with sweet potato fries (which my cousin is blocking with her hand LOL), Mac 'n' Cheese and Beer and Honey Onion Rings, BBQ Pulled Jackfruit burger with truffle and parmesan fries, another Southern Fried chicken burger with plain fries and Bangers and the Bangers and Mash (which my cousin unfortunately didn't enjoy so a re order was made).

The texture of Jackfruit aka Durian is very similar to pork and makes a great substitute for meat. The flavours with the Jackfruit were really nice. I will definitely have to look out for it and maybe create a recipe with it in the near future.

The truffle fries were sooooo delicious!!!!!!

We had some mac and cheese and onion rings on the side. The onion rings were really nice not too sure on the mac and cheese.

This meal was a great start to our weekend hanging out. It was needed to not only for an adrenaline packed dash up and down two flights of stairs for an incoming train. But, for a cousin twerk session courtesy of the great bops of the early 2000s.
